SUMMARY:Webinar # 2 - Coping with Holiday Stress for Youth in Foster Care - Presented By Coordinated Care
DESCRIPTION:All of us can feel stressed around the holidays. This stress can be amplified by feelings of grief and loss for students from foster care. This training will help participants identify holiday stress that young people in foster care feel and ways to help them cope. Learning goals will include: \n1) Common holiday stresses for adults (managing your own stress) \n2) Preparing foster youth for the holidays \n3) Coping with holiday stress and trauma triggers \nThis WPN training will be facilitated by Coordinated Care’s community education team who provide a range of no-cost training to those who work with youth impacted by the child welfare system. \nQuestions?
