Financial Aid 101 for Support Staff Webinar

On Wednesday, November 20, two staff members from College Success Foundation’s scholarship services team walked us through the basics of financial aid. Maria Rebecchi, director of scholarships and financial aid education, and Kerrie Moss, program officer – scholarships and financial aid education, laid out the basic financial aid options for students, including federal and state grants, work study, scholarships, and loans. With the FAFSA application now open and WASFA just around the corner, Maria and Kerrie walked through the application steps and important differences between the two. They also shared several resources to help practitioners support their students through their financial aid journeys.
