Region 2

Purpose Statement

We are a group of advocates composed of individuals from diverse organizational areas, collaborating to serve youth impacted by the foster care system and unaccompanied homelessness (as identified by McKinney-Vento) in South Central Washington. We aim to enhance opportunities for successful student pathways and personal growth by strengthening communication and maximizing strategic planning between and among college and community partners.

Mission

The South Central Regional Passport Group will make a collective effort to accomplish the following:

  • Improve collaborative relationships among state, college, and community partners
  • Improve regional service coordination and quality of comprehensive resources
  • Implement projects to improve educational and workforce outcomes
  • Make data-informed goals and decisions to plan projects and measure impact
