Pierce/Kitsap Regional Passport Group
Region 5
Purpose Statement
We are a committed group of stakeholders dedicated to strengthening access to resources and services for youth impacted by the foster care system or unaccompanied homelessness, as identified by McKinney-Vento, in the Pierce/Kitsap Washington region. Our purpose is to cultivate partnerships among secondary school liaisons, local service providers, state agency partners, and post-secondary providers to address barriers and empower students to achieve their secondary and post-secondary education and training goals. We aim to center student voice and lived experiences to raise awareness about local resources and services, ensuring comprehensive support for student access towards educational and workforce attainment.
