Background
The history of the Consortium started with Jeff Lindstrom, YMCA, College Network, and the Stuart Grant in winter of 2014. The group’s priority focus was on access to post-secondary education in King County. The initial group membership were those working with foster youth on educational goals and planning. Since its inception, the group’s focus has expanded to include unaccompanied homeless youth

Purpose Statement
The Passport Consortium is a diverse group of King County stakeholders who create strategies that improve access to post-secondary programs for youth who have been in foster care or have experienced unaccompanied homelessness.
