Western Regional Passport Group
Region 6
Purpose Statement
We are a dedicated collective of stakeholders committed to raising awareness about resources and services for youth impacted by the foster care system or unaccompanied homelessness, as identified by McKinney-Vento, in Western Washington. Our purpose is to forge and strengthen partnerships among secondary school liaisons, local service providers, state agency partners, and post-secondary providers to facilitate collaborative efforts and comprehensive support centered in student empowerment and post-secondary goal attainment. We aim to enhance students’ learning experience through thoughtfully designed programming development and implementation to extend access to resources and guidance beyond the classroom.
