A Decade of Impact

November 12, 2024May 19, 2025

It’s with gratitude and sadness that we announce Juliet Schindler’s departure from College Success Foundation. Juliet has served as a director at CSF for ten years, with the last five years as executive director, public affairs and strategic partnerships. In this expanded role, Juliet shifted from advocating for the Passport population to additionally managing the Washington Passport Network team and contract with WSAC. A tireless advocate for our mission population, Juliet’s talent for building meaningful partnerships and advancing key legislative priorities has been a game-changer for the students we serve. Over the past decade, she helped CSF navigate critical transitions and redefine our work, including working to ensure smooth transitions of our Passport program as we piloted a direct student support strategy, then recently shifted to a focus on enhanced supports for WPN members and regional networks.

Juliet’s last day at CSF was November 5. In the coming weeks, Juliet will step into the role of state director, government and community relations, for the northwest region at Western Governors University. We will miss her collaborative spirit, dedication, and genuine care for her colleagues and the mission of our organization.

Juliet wanted to share a farewell message. “I have learned so much from all of you that I have had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with. I grew up with a dedicated mother who spent years as a social worker with DSHS, but I didn’t truly understand the foster care system and the challenges that face those who experience it, and also those who work to support young people who have experienced this system. Thank you for your wisdom, your dedication, and your grace with me as I learned how best to work with the providers and Passport-eligible youth to advocate for positive change. I will continue to be an advocate for higher education opportunity in my new role and would love to stay connected. Keep up the good fight and thank you!”

Our Passport team — Laura Lydia, Osbaldo Arroyo, Gisselle Blanco and Sara Schweid — will continue to deliver engaging opportunities for connection, collaboration, education and advocacy in support of the students we serve. We are thrilled to have this excellent team in place during this time of transition. If you have any questions, please reach out.
